The memory of Benjamin Chester Gumbel (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 28, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary Lou, Bill Chester and Jack Gumbel; and his best pal Griffey. He is survived by: his parents, Kathleen and Larry; his siblings, Mark and Rachel; his grandmother Jane Gumbel; and his aunts and uncles, Diane Whoberry (Doug), Linda Lauder (Malcolm), David Gumbel (Debbie), John Chester and Martha Offutt. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Chapel (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Catholic Church (2141 Lancashire Ave, Louisville, KY 40205).
