Barbara Strader Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Strader of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Boyd Easley (Willie Alice) and Viola McShane (William); her husband Peter A. Strader; and her brother James Easley. She is survived by: her children, Robin Lynn Welsh, Robert W. Strader and Lecia Marie Cosand; her grandchildren, Chad, Brent, Krista, Christian, Matt, Marissa, Tevin and Eryn; and her sisters, Marcella Miller and Julia Eves (Paul).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name can be made to the American Lung Association.
