She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles D. Lane and Doris K. Lane; and her former husband Thomas J. Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Carl T. Head, Jr.; her sons, John Anderson (Lauren), Carl T. Head III and Trey (Samantha); her stepdaughters, Tammy Hamilton (Glenn) and Jennifer Davis; her brother Earl D. Lane; and her family Carl. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.

She was in my grants class- but helped teach the class since she had already been writing successful grant proposals for years. I periodically saw her and loved hearing of her continued hospice work. We both lived in Owl Creek subdivision for a number of years and she gave me advice when we were putting our house on the market. She will be missed.”
