With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andre Jules Bourdet Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andre Sr. Bourdet and Emily Higgins Bourdet; and his sisters, Suzanne Costello and Beverly Trout Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Anne Hickey; his daughters, Mimi Otten (Bill) of Louisville and Emily Busse (Deke) of Chicago; his extended family, Charlie Otten (Devan), Ben Otten, Lucy, Heidi and Sophie Otten; his grandchildren, Kate Connor (Jack) and John O'Malley; and his great grandchild Michael Connor.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (15642 Clayton Rd, Ellisville, MO 63011). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul and White House Retreat, honoring his lifelong commitment to helping others.
