With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andre J Bourdet Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andre J Bourdet Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andre Sr. Bourdet and Emily Higgins Bourdet; and his sisters, Suzanne Costello and Beverly Trout Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Anne Hickey; his daughters, Mimi Otten (Bill) of Louisville and Emily Busse (Deke) of Chicago; his extended family, Charlie Otten (Devan), Ben Otten, Lucy, Heidi and Sophie Otten; his grandchildren, Kate Connor (Jack) and John O'Malley; and his great grandchild Michael Connor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Claire of Assisi Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul and White House Retreat, honoring his lifelong commitment to helping others.
