In the sacred silence of farewell, Alice Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alice Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Stottmann of Louisville; her sons, Jonathan Ormsby Stottmann (Jessica) of Louisville and David Stottmann (Erin) of Elizabethtown; and her sister Sharon Faye McGurk of Lexington.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home (425 N Main St, New Castle, KY 40050). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Interment: New Castle Cemetery, Memorial Contributions: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
