He is survived by: his mother Martha Marie Triplett Chaffin (Triplett); his wife Angela Kay Chaffin; his children, John Oliver and Paige Chaffin; his sisters, Janie Marie Smith and Amanda Kaye Smith; and his grandsons, Jason Luke Wood and Jacob Nolan Wood. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
