He was predeceased by: his parent Lundy Ferguson; his close friend Barbara Hickman; his grandson Braxton Lee Ferguson; and his siblings, Betty Joe Parker, Douglas Ferguson, Russell Ferguson, Earlene Lawson, Mary Eldridge and Florie King.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ferguson (Tammy), Brandon Ferguson (Diana), James Duke (Mandy) and Crystal Ramey (Green); his grandchildren, Michael Ferguson, Jr., Natasha Kirk, Tristan Ratliff, Desirae Ferguson, Brayden King, Brittany Prince, Alexandria Duke (Ethan), Thomas Dalton (Christina), Destinay Dalton, Katie Dalton and Bentley Ferguson; and his siblings, Virgil Lee Ferguson and Carolyn Sue Lawson. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.
