He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Salyers and Hazel Salyers (Carter); and his brother Marvin Salyers. He is survived by: his wife Lana Gail Salyers; his brother Melvin Salyers (Peggy); his children, Betty Salyers, Tim Salyers (Shirley), Rodney Salyers (Twila), James Salyers (Stephanie), Cindy Salyers (Rich Quinn) and Stephen Sartin (Marsha); and his grandchildren, Chantelle, Ryan, Samantha, Daidra, Randy, Corey, Briena, Taylor, Haleigh, Colby, Connor, Chase and Shane. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, special cousins, friends, and his church family.
