He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwyn Lee and Catherine Clay, Jr. (Carrol); his brother Robert Elwyn Clay; and his significant other Jennifer. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Clay (Janet) and Sherry Preston (Lee); and his nieces and nephews, Amy Newsome (Adam), Tim Cordle (Sarah), Paige Preston, Brody Preston (Beth), Catherine Stumbo (Justin) and Bobbi Sue Clay.
