He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Syd, Toots Ryland, Sam, Goldie Sammons and Wanda "Mimi" Miller Hayes.
He is survived by: his parents, Rick Sammons and Dianna Ryland Sammons; his wife Kristy Sammons; his daughters, Jenna Sue and Lauren Kate Sammons; his sister Carrie Salyers (Justin); his parents-in-law, Gary and Nikki Nelson; his nieces and nephews, Hallee Preece, Addalyn Woods, Abby Nelson, Skyla Salyers, Syd Woods, Brady Nelson, Stryker Powell and Sylas Salyers; and his brother-in-law BJ Nelson (Valerie).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (301 W Pike St, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Louisa (301 W Pike St, Louisa, KY 41230).
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to First State Bank for the scholarship fund of Jenna Sue and Lauren Kate Sammons.
