He is survived by: his wife Debra Holstein Johnson; his children, Rondel Johnson (Shelly), Kristie Daniel (Earl), Nicole Fitch (Jim) and Amy Mitchell (Billy); his sisters, Nellie Ruth Preston, Ova Maynard, Bonnie Adkins (Gary) and Maggie Preece (Billy); his sisters-in-law, Zelda Johnson, Norma Jean Johnson and Glenda Johnson; and his grandchildren, Whitney Bragg (Houston), Cody Johnson (Jessica), Rondel Johnson (Megan), Jennifer Jude (Brandon), Hannah Fitch, Eli Fitch, Brooke Heilmann, Alex Carney, Kenneth Daniel (Brandy) and Bobby Daniel (Keisha).
