She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Morgan and Ruth Jean Preece (Branham). She is survived by: her husband Freddie Jay Thompson; her children, Douglas Morgan Thompson (Amanda) of Louisa, Tonya Scarberry (Terry) of Ravenswood, WV, Crystal Cunningham of Ravenswood, WV, Sabrina Rasnake (Dave) of Louisa, KY and Amanda Kay Endicott (Gordon) of Fallsburg, KY.; her sister Mary Preece; and her grandchildren, Zachary Morgan Thompson, Zoey Grace Thompson, Sophia Luby, Michael Fugitt, Riley Rasnake, Tanner Rasnake, Timmy Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Christian Jackson and Shaylee Cummings.
