He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Blankenship Calhoun (Jacki); his daughter Sherry Opell (David); his grandsons, Jeremy Opell (Morgan) and Brent Opell; his niece Judy Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Opell, Barret Harmon, Blaine Griffith and Brinley Griffith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
