Rabon Bowens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 85, Rabon Bowens of Louisa, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rabon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rabon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. and Rabon; his granddaughter Brittany Nicole Hammons; and his brother Alton Bowens. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Bowens; his daughter Lisa Bowens; his grandson Daniel Chapman; and his great grandchildren, Eli Chapman, Daniel Chapman Jr., Edin Fitzpatrick, Rabon Chapman and Nikita Chapman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (1270 KY-2565, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
