She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Borders and Marie Hall Borders; her former husband James Kelly Vanhoose; her grandsons, James Richard Boyd and James Maddox Boyd; her brother Everett Borders Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Faye Borders and Judy Borders; and her stepson Roger VanHoose.
She is survived by: her husband George VanHoose; her children, Sandra Castle (Phillip Cavins), Melissa Davis (Aaron), Kristy Fugitt (Jason) and Gregory Vanhoose (Christy); her stepchildren, Debbie Carter (Dock) and Douglas; her siblings, Pam Bevins (Jim), Harold Borders (Phyllis), Larry Borders, David Borders (Madonna) and Dan Borders; her grandchildren, Tyler Castle, Laiken Castle, Kelly Davis, Kyle Davis, Abby Vanhoose and Lexie Vanhoose; her stepgrandchildren, Tyer Eady, Drew Eady, Pheobe Fugitt, Michael Fugitt, Roger VanHoose Jr. (Samantha), Joseph VanHoose (Heather), George Ray VanHoose (Colleen), Christopher VanHoose (Jessie), Jessica VanHoose (Ryan), Dock Carter (Laura) and George Elbert Carter (Ingrid); her great grandchildren, Gunner Berry, Gavin Berry and Kyla Davis; and her sister-in-law Frances Bryant.
