He is survived by: his wife Joyce Chaffin; his children, Matthew Chaffin (Tessaca), Kayla Artrip (Johnny) and Crystal Chaffin (Jason); and his siblings, Paul Tracy Chaffin, Frank Chaffin, Lois Chaffin, Reba Chaffin and Lena Marie Caudill. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
