He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wellman; his siblings, Nora Hammond and Carl Wellman; and his sons, Daniel Wellman (Linda) of Louisa and Benjamin Wellman of Louisa. He is also survived by grandchildren, great granchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
