She is survived by: her husband Alvin Phelps; her children, Greg Nelson (Karen) and Carol Workman (Bobby); her sister Betty Shannon; her stepbrothers, David Eugene Muncy and Glen Muncy; and her granddaughters, Jessica Nelson, Aimee Workman, Annie May, Leslie Nguyen, Ashley Nelson and Allison Nelson. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
