He is survived by: his wife Alta Irene Ratliff; his children, Larry Ratliff Jr. (Suzie), Joshua Ratliff and Nicole Ratliff; his siblings, Christopher Ratliff Jr. (Emily), Bobby Joe Ratliff (Regina), Pam Phelps (Dave) and Irene Starr; his sister-in-law Beverly Ratliff; his grandchildren, Clayton Jeremiah Ratliff, Gavin Jude and Ciera "C. C."; his stepgranddaughter Zaria Moore; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Adkins, Josiah Adkins and Ryder Ratliff.
