He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafe Smith and Eunice Stambaugh Hinkle; his sister Debra Short; and his grandmother Ethel Ward Hinkle. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Pack Hinkle; his daughter Julia; his son-in-law Jason Rollins; his grandsons, Jason Lafe Rollins and Jackston Lowell Rollins; his siblings, Sharon Kinner and Randolph Hinkle; his brother-in-law Bruce Short; his nephew Alan Short (Chelsee); his great-nieces, Ellouise Short and Lucy Short; his nephew Bryan Short (Kelly); his great-niece Lynlee Short; his mother-in-law Linda Pack; his brother-in-law Greg Pack; and his nephew Alex Pack. He is also survived by his wife, his daughter, his nephews, his great nieces and loved his grandsons.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society or the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
