She is survived by: her children, William B Short, Katherine Adkins (Joseph), Patty Henson (Larry), Linda Short, Janet Short and Diane Short; her grandchildren, Priscilla Whitt, Karen Salmons, Nancy Adkins, Joseph "Bud" Adkins, Michelle Andrews and Jennifer Johnson; and her siblings, Willie Thompson, Arbie Thompson, Roy Thompson, Charlie Thompson and Kizzie Marcum. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
