He was predeceased by: his father Alger Maxie; and his nephew Landyn Nix. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Scaggs Maxie; his fiancé Martie Simpkins; his children, Camber Maxie, Brady Simpkins, Lucas Simpkins, Hunter Maxie and Asher Maxie; his siblings, Shannon Maxie, Jeremy Maxie and Amy Nix (John); and his nieces, Hannah Maxie and Jaylee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
