He is survived by: his children, John H. Preece, Jr. (Laurie), James Preece, Mary Jo Wolford (David) and Phyllis Thiede (Keith); and his siblings, Howard Preece, Phillip Preece, Lester Preece, Faye Bellomy (Ralph) and Angie Preece. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
