He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Boyd and Elva Boyd (Bowling); his wife Eula Boyd (Marcum); and his son James E. Boyd. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Kay Terry, Walter Boyd Jr., Clyde "Demp" Boyd, Joe Boyd and Paul Boyd; his children, Shila Pack (Bill), Sherry Martin (Homer), Dean Boyd and Keith Boyd (Trina); his daughter-in-law Carolyn Boyd; his close friend Lucky; and his siblings, Wilma Boyd McKenzie of Louisa, Mary Boyd of Louisa, George Boyd (Becky) of Columbus and Glen Boyd of Louisa. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
