He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Runyon; his brother Cecil Cassady Jr.; and his son-in-law Tony Holley. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Murphy Runyon; his children, Daniel Runyon (Nicole) of Ashland, KY and Michelle Holley of Ashland, KY; his grandchildren, A. J. Holley, Jacob Holley, Alley Runyon, Jessica Runyon, Lee-Anna Runyon, Ashley Runyon, Alex Spears (Sarah), Michael Spears and Brett Spears; and his great grandchildren, Mia Holley, Addison Lyons, Maddie Markel, Michael Markel, Trinity Spears, Skylar Spears, Bubba Spears, Raven Spears, Tori Spears and Carter Spears.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101 or to the Shriners of Ashland, 13450 KY 180, Ashland, KY 41102.
