He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Rice; and his siblings, John Alfred Rice and Virginia "Jenny" Queen. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Ballard (Gary) of Owingsville and John Lee of Louisa; his grandchildren, Keri Vice (John) of Owingsville, Casey Damron of Owingsville and John Ryan Rice of Prestonsburg; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Vice, Karson and Eli Damron; and his niece Angie Rice of Webbville. He is also survived by many special friends that included his past co-workers, hunting buddies and caretakers and friends.
