She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ward and Etta Vanover Ward; her husband Ralph Leon Dawson; her son Ronald Lee Dawson; and her siblings, Robert, Paul, Merl, Lyle, Jerry, Roger Ward and Joyce Faye Ward.
She is survived by: her sons, R. L. Dawson II and Robert Lyle Dawson (Jaysen); her grandchildren, Jessica Dawson DeHaven (Aaron), Matthew Dawson (Britany) and Sara Dawson Smith (Clay); her great grandchildren, Lyla DeHaven, Dawson DeHaven, Lincoln DeHaven, Claire Dawson, Fiona Dawson, Phoebe Dawson, Sutton Smith and Porter Smith; her sister Genevieve Duffey; and her brother-in-law Lowell Herbert Dawson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
