She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roscoe and Mary Jane Shortridge (Queen); her husbands, William Parson and Harold Vanhorn; her daughter Rhonda McGranahan; her stepchildren, Juanetta Reiter, Doris Smyra, Glen Vanhorn, Laura Miller, Norma Brown, Vickie Geyer and Billy Vanhorn; and her siblings, Ella Shortridge and Roy Shortridge.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Parson (Louise), Darlene Church (Eddie), Henry Paul Parson and Harold Eugene Vanhorn, II; and her stepchildren, Harold P. Vanhorn (Kathy), Deborah Vanhorn (Corbitt), Iris Burchett (Glen) and Rachel Ratcliff (Keith). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
