He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Preece and Lenore Preece; his sisters, Louise Branham and Rowena Crum; and his grandson Brett Geiger.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Preece; his children, Erica Vinson (Jason), Paula Preece, Sue Geiger, Dan Jr. Preece (Debbie), Rick Harmon (Misty) and Jack Harmon (Karen); his sister Nadine May; and his grandchildren, Ashley Skellett (Donavon), Tiffany Lopez (Alex), Kayla Ishmel (Skylar), Shayna Hemming (Trevor), Chloe Vinson, Gabe Vinson, Tabatha Harmon, Zachary Harmon, Nicholas Harmon (Isabella), Brittany Headoick (Charles) and Ryan Preece (Kim). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
If anyone would like to give donations they can be given to the Bells Chapel youth group or to Community Hospice.
