It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Preston (Louisa, Kentucky), who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Mae Preston to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascom Carter and Dora Bevins Carter; her husband Jim Jack Preston; and her siblings, Garnet Holland, Vonda Pigg, Wilda Bush and Harvey Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, James Edward Preston (Cindy), Henry Ray Preston (Carol) and David Eugene Preston (Jennifer); her brother Morton Carter (Hazel); and her siblings-in-law, Emma Faye Carter and Charlie Holland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Louisa Free Will Baptist Church and/or the Alzheimer's Association @ alz.org/donate.
