With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Ray Gibson (Louisa, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Gibson and Mattie George Gibson; his wife Wanda Bryant Gibson; his siblings, James Gibson, Curt Moore, Charles Moore and Charlotte Cartmel; his granddaughter Krista Counts; and his close friend Larry "Bear" Hill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Gibson, Tonya Gibson Babcock (Charlie) and Joyce Boggs; his grandchildren, Carly Babcock and Ryan Counts; his pet Marly; his siblings, Fred Gibson (Brenda Akers), Danny Gibson (Linda), Glen Gibson, Bill Gibson, Sharon Tooley, Greta Grayson, Pauletta McNabb (John), Helen Ferrell and Bell Adkins (Ed); and his close friends, Mike Amos, Bobby Bellomy, Ted McPeek, Tom Cartmel and Rosie Rosado. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (1270 KY-2565, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
