He is survived by: his parents, Darwin "Woody" James and Judith Powers James; his children, Trenton Mikel James (McKinnah Smith), Emily Lynn James and Olivia Grace James; his granddaughter Anelise Lynn James; and his sister Melissa Poe (James). He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces; and his church family.
