He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eugene and Verna Marie Wilks (Sprouse); and his siblings, John Everett Wilks, Imogene Webb and Sandy Wilks.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Wilks (Jaimie), Hank Wilks (Vickie), Elizabeth Wilks and Kristen Wilks; his grandchildren, Noah, Abigail, Tristen, Carson and Amelia; and his siblings, Charles Eugene Wilks, Jr., Albert Clayton Wilks, Walter Lee Wilks, David Kenton Wilks, Buster Edmond Wilks, Lilly Webb, Tina Wilks and Sherry Boyce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
