He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Smith and Charles (Velva Marcum); his wife Lois Marcum; and his siblings, Lamina Sturgill, Edna McCloud, Mary Mullins, Charlotte Mills and Alan Smith.
He is survived by: his son Mark Marcum (Karen); his grandchildren, Jessica Marcum and Brad Marcum (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Liam Hall, Addilyn Rae Marcum and Paisley Marie Patrick; his sister Lahoma Ailiff; his brother-in-law Bill; and his siblings, Darlene Tomblin (Everal), Charles Marcum (Chris) and Robert Marcum (Libby).
