He is survived by: his mother Emma Lou Conn Akers of Banner, KY; his daughter Jillynn Rene Akers of Banner, KY; his siblings, Benjamin Akers (Genevieve) of Banner, KY and Kathy Wallen (Shannon); his grandson Braxton Dane Akers (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Waylon Blade and Ivy Kate Akers.
