He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charley Prichard and Alice Salmons Prichard; his wife Mary Mabry Prichard; his daughters, Cheryl Prichard and Tracy Hargrove; his stepsons, Philip Short (Romana) and Bruce Short (Debra); his grandchildren, Bianca Marou (Mike Wight), Erica Whitaker (Chris Swecker), Amanda Neal (Brian), Michael Hargrove, Alan Short (Chelsee), Bryan Short (Kelly), Philana Mertz (Jacob) and Caleb Short; and his great grandchildren, Bowie Whitaker-Lowe, Wiley Swecker, Delilah Swecker, Edelyn "Janey" Swecker, Harvey Swecker, Lynlee Short, Rèmy Short, Ellie Short, Lucy Short, Naomi Mertz, Elspeth Mertz and Willow Hargrove-Scott.
