He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Allen and Alta Allen (Cox); and his wife Ruth Irene Allen. He is survived by: his children, John Allen, Wanda Garrison, Rita Allen, Jay Allen, Alta Allen, Charles Allen, Jr., Joseph Allen Garrison and Natalie Garrison; and his sisters, Rosa Lea Moore and Eula Hause.
