It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louanna McCoy of Louisa, Kentucky, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Maynard and Anna Mary Maynard; and her siblings, Elbert "Junebug" Spaulding, Nellie Spaulding, Pauline May (Eugene), Grace Slone, Inice Moore (Isaac), Lizzy Slone (Bug), Juanita Shipe (Bill) and Patty "Doll" Cassady (Ed).
She is survived by: her husband Thomas McCoy; her daughters, Patty Hale (Jason) of New Market, TN, Susan McCoy (William) of Beauty, KY and Shauna Ratliff (Jeremy) of Louisa, KY; her brother Eugene Maynard (Nyoka) of Beauty, KY; her brother-in-law Bill Shipe; and her grandchildren, Charleea Davis (Adam), Cassie Muncy (Dave), Bubby Sparks, Eric Sparks, Easton Ratliff, Kaislee Ratliff, Tinley Muncy, Parker Davis, Sydney Hale, Chloe Hale, Jonas Hale and Heidi Hale.
