She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Herald and Louise Noble Herald; her husband John Godsey; her siblings, Ernest, Jesse, Lewis Henry, Courtney, Elbert Jr., Randall, Johnny, Ruth and Wanda; her great grandchild Kaelin Wayne Phillips; and her son-in-law John Bays.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Barnett (Kenneth) of Jackson, Susan Hutchinson (James) of Burlington, Charlene Godsey of Paintsville, Kathy Hensley (Billy) of Beattyville, Valerie Senters of Ivel and Gail Godsey of Lost Creek, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Kimberly Phillips, Gregory Alan Fugate, Bridgett Nicole Bays, Tara Louise O'Bryan, Kenneth Barnett Jr., Brendon Roy Watkins, Timothy Brian Watkins, Jeremy Seth Senters, Shawn Harrison Baldridge, Chad Owen Baldridge and Jacob Ryan Adams; her great grandchildren, Karisa Grace Phillips, Nathaniel Isaiah Phillips, Emily Faith Phillips, Abigail Ann Fugate, Jason Andrew Arnold, Aiden Matthew Godsey, Trevor Allen O'Bryan, Kennedy Renee Barnett and Kainen Royce Watkins; and her sisters, Grace Hickman (Paul) of Lost Creek and Juanita Combs (Ossie) of Ohio. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
