He was predeceased by: his parents, Whick Fugate and Eva Fugate; his children, April Michelle Fugate, Linda Hay, Norris Buddy Noble and Ernest Corky Haddix; and his siblings, Alonzo Fugate, Banger Fugate, Mary Neace, Eurbane Neace Miller, Canzalia Combs, Arbutis Miller, Bessie Stouard, Mollie Fugate and Flossie Fugate.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Bessie Combs; his sons, Clay Paxton Fugate (Monica) and Jimmy Haddix (Heika); his siblings, Alfred Fugate (Carol), Arlie Fugate (Wilma) and Bertha Wells; and his grandchildren, Marty Clay Fugate of Willie Brewer, II, Trey Noble, Brandon Sewell, Amber Rachelle Fugate, Emily White, Nicole Strong, Billie Mullins (Roger), Keisha Derry (Michael), April Leigh Ann Brewer and Taylor Noble. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; host of nephews and nieces; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
