With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilhelmenia Taylor (Loretto, Kentucky), who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E Taylor; her parents, Earl Lyvers and Martha Lyvers; her siblings, Tony, Ronnie, Pat, Wayne Lyvers, Charlotte Figg, Patricia Ann Waites and Mary Ellen Lyvers; and her grandsons, Jason Taylor and Eric Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Taylor, Dolores Taylor, Mary Patricia Jones (Stewart), Carol Robertson (Drew), Charles William Taylor (Doris), Dale Taylor (Sherry), Michael Taylor (Angela), Louis Taylor (Sandra), Steven Taylor (Tracy) and Allen Taylor; and her siblings, Pauline Mattingly, Rebecca Jane Essex, Kenneth Lyvers (Hein), Wallace Lyvers, Margaret Mary Mattingly (Tommy), Phillip Lyvers (Laura) and Trudy Voss (Hank). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and numerous step grand and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (59 New Haven Rd, Loretto, KY 40037).
