He is survived by: his wife Mary Hazel Newton Lyvers; his children, Randy Lyvers (Carol) of Columbus, Jerry Lyvers (Theresa) of Louisville, Carol Blanford (Steven) of Holy Cross and Bill Lyvers (Staci) of Gahanna, Ohio; his grandchildren, Brian Blanford (Traci), Drew Lyvers, Lindsey Bland (Wesley), Luke Lyvers, Hayl Lingenfelter (Aaron), Amber Shoffner (Bobby), Sydney Yaney (Sam), John Lyvers, Kyra Lin (Winson), Claire Lyvers, Zane Lyvers and Saige Lyvers; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Charlotte, Thomas, Carson, Madelyn and Henry; and his siblings, Wallace, Kenneth (Hien), Phillip Lyvers (Laura), Wilhelmenia Taylor, Pauline Mattingly, Rebecca Jane Essex, Margaret Mary Mattingly (Tommy) and Trudy Voss (Hank).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (59 New Haven Rd, Loretto, KY 40037).
