With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenny Sims (Loretto, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 9, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Otho and Mary Pauline Thompson Sims; his sister Mary Lou Krill; his brother-in-law Jude Ballard; and his son-in-law Francis Gerard "Flood" Mattingly.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Willett Sims; his children, Angie Edlin of Bardstown, Allen Sims (Robin Strange) of Bardstown, Scott Sims (Tessa) of Bardstown and Jeff Sims (Julie) of Loretto; his grandchildren, Deanna Mattingly, Cody, Madeline, Nick, Carmen and Benjamin Sims; his great grandchildren, Aubree and Raylan; his sisters, Margie Beam (Freddy) of Bardstown, Katsy Hagan (Harry) of Louisville, Lorine Ballard of Louisville, Rose Mary Edlin of Loretto and Brenda Sims of Louisville; and his brother-in-law Jake Krill of Louisville.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 50% occupancy.
