He is survived by: his son Sammy Thomas of Owensboro; his stepson Jeff Fleming of Owensboro; and his siblings, Pam Medley (Danny) of Loretto, Ann Marie Ballard (Greg) of Holy Cross, Keith Thomas of Shepherdsville, Bernie Thomas of Taylorsville and Phillip Thomas (Amanda) of Atlanta, Georgia.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
