He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Fredaline Blair Essex; and his brothers, Charles Gary Essex and Francis Kevin Essex. He is survived by: his sisters, Stephanie Mattingly of Loretto, Denise Mann of Loretto and Debbie Williamson (Joe) of Saint Francis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
