She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Truston and Mary Elsie Ruley Nalley; and her siblings, Philip, Tommy Nalley, David, Mary Ann and John Herbert Nalley.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Gootee; her sons, Michael Gootee of Loretto and Jamie Gootee (Johanna) of Cynthiana; her granddaughter Emily Jo Gootee; and her siblings, Mary Cecil (Bobby) of Bardstown, Linda Cecil (Louis) of New Hope, Carolyn Gootee of Lexington, Jenny Spannknebel of Louisville, Leo Nalley (Frankie) of Loretto, Joe "Tic" Nalley (Ellen) of Loretto, Charles Nalley (Judy) of Lebanon and Tim Nalley of Bardstown. She is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews.
