Jimmy Medley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Medley of Loretto, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Medley and Leola Medley Mattingly; his stepfather Henry Mattingly; his brothers, Darryl Medley and Robert Leo Medley; his son Eddie Medley; his father-in-law George Evans; and his stepsiblings, Billy Mattingly, Betty Lou Brady, Ruth Ann Sapp, Jeanette Hughes, Eleanora Wade and Jane Nalley.
He is survived by: his wife Burma Medley; his children, Syrena of Washington and Jeffrey Medley; his stepdaughter Kathy Braden; his grandchildren, Kelsi Calhoun, Kiara (Donovan), Cory (Meagan Medley) and Christine (Jeffrey Medley); his stepgrandsons, Michael, Mathew and Christopher Smith; his siblings, Carl, Charles Wayne, Sammy, Tommy Medley, Carmel Cecil, Beverly Sims, Martha Mattingly, Mary Cambron, Kathy Graves, Jeanie Edelen and Fran Craven; his stepsisters, Eunice Luckett and Rosie Mattingly; and his parents-in-law, Kathryn Evans, George Ann Burton, Bill Evans and Glen Evans. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
