He was predeceased by: his wife Imogene Hill Ruley; his children, Vickie Ann Williamson, Joyce Hamilton, Sandra Corbett and James Edward "Jimmy" Ruley; his grandchildren, Cory and Jenna Ruley; his parents, William Lawrence and Allie Rhoville Bryant Ruley; and his siblings, Effie Mae Thompson, Mary Elsie Nalley, Maggie Ruley, Roy B. Ruley, Nancy Benita Blandford and William Irvin Ruley.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Ruley (Deborah) of Bardstown; and his sister Stella Frances Warner. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 50 % capacity, face coverings are required, and food and drink are prohibited.
