He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hutchins and Liguori Sims Hutchins; and his siblings, Lorene Miles, Maurita Ballard, Mary Grace Mattingly, Mary Ann Gardner, Sybil Blair, Mary Catherine Willett, Linda "Moe" Mills, Barbara Ann Southerland, Leon, Gerald, Teenie, Harold, Marvin and Herb Hutchins.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Mattingly Hutchins; his children, Gerald Hutchins of Loretto, Bruce Hutchins (Frieda) of Bardstown, Beth Clark (Pat) of Lebanon and Michael Hutchins (Pam) of Loretto; and his sister Christine Lanham (Robert) of Loretto. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
